Matcha

Matcha is a finely ground powder made from shade-grown tea leaves. We proudly source our matcha from Hangzhou, home to Jingshan Temple, a historic birthplace of Zen tea traditions.
As Eisai wrote in Kissa Yōjōki (Drinking Tea for Health):
“The beginning of Japan’s tea practice was transmitted from Jingshan during the Song Dynasty.”
